Mr. Jagdish Rai Mittal serves as Founder at Nova Formworks, bringing more than four decades of experience in plastics manufacturing and material-driven innovation. His entrepreneurial journey began with the establishment of a manufacturing unit, where he developed expertise across multiple verticals including raw material compounding, PP corrugated sheets, plastic molded furniture, and water storage solutions.

Through his experience across diverse plastic product segments, he identified

common challenges related to durability, material efficiency, product consistency, and performance across repeated use.

After several years of experimentation, research, and product development, this vision culminated in 2011 with the launch of the Nova Plastic Formwork System – designed to deliver durability, improved construction efficiency, and more than 100 repetitions across project cycles.

Vikas Kumar Mittal is the Chairman and Managing Director of Nova Formworks, providing strategic leadership shaped by decades of hands-on experience in plastic manufacturing, material engineering, and production-driven innovation.

His professional journey began within his family’s plastic manufacturing business, where he worked closely with raw material compounding, mould design, and large-scale production operations. This early exposure built a strong foundation in material behaviour, durability, and process discipline..

During the construction industry’s rapid expansion in the mid-2000s, Mr. Mittal closely observed a recurring challenge across sites – the widespread use of plywood shuttering that resulted in short service life, inconsistent finishes, high wastage, and frequent replacement.

In 2011, this effort resulted in the launch of Nova’s patented modular plastic formwork system – engineered for consistency, durability, and dependable performance across repeated cycles.

As Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Mittal continues to guide Nova Formworks’ long-term vision, innovation roadmap, and manufacturing philosophy.

Tina Mittal’s journey with Nova Formworks is defined by early responsibility, hands-on leadership, and the ability to manage complexity from the ground up – qualities that continue to shape her role on the Board today.

After completing her graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University, she began her professional journey in manufacturing operations after marriage, at a time when scale, discipline, and execution was deeply required.

At a time when factory leadership was almost entirely male-dominated, she became the first woman to work on and manage the shop floor, earning trust through consistency, clarity, and results.

As Nova Formworks took shape, Mrs. Mittal played a key role in stabilising operations, building internal processes, and supporting the organisation through its formative growth phase. Today, as Director, she oversees and guides multiple core functions across Nova Formworks, including operations, people and culture, sustainability initiatives, and organisational processes.
