Still Losing Time & Money
on High Rise Construction?

Systemising High-Rise Building for Green Infra

If vertical construction feels harder than it should, the problem often lies in traditional methods. Nova Climbing Formwork System is engineered for tall vertical RCC walls, lift and staircase shafts, inclined walls, overhead tanks, bridge piers, pylons, and silos.

      Problems We Are Addressing in
      High-Rise Construction

Challenges that you might be facing in high-rise construction don't come from height - they come from non-modular climbing shuttering methods.

      Slow and unpredictable pour cycles

Heavy dependence on high skilled labour

      High safety risks at height

Excessive crane usage for routine activities

      Repeated dismantling and reassembly

Rising costs due to rework, delays, and downtime

      Designed to
      Eliminate These Bottlenecks

Nova Formworks' Climbing Formwork System brings strong structure and precise high rise construction by providing following solutions.

      Faster & repeatable climbing cycles

      Strong Safety platforms

Modular configurations for straight, circular, and complex geometries

Efficient handling with less crane dependency

High durability for long-term reuse and cost efficiency

Adjustable in all directions, both precisely and quickly

      Problems We Are Addressing in
      High-Rise Construction

      1.

      Initial Setup

The formwork, working platforms, and safety systems are assembled at the base or first pour level, aligned accurately to structural requirements.
      2.

      Concrete Pour & Curing

Concrete is poured with full support from the integrated formwork and platforms. The system supports pour heights of up to 6 m per cycle. Wide 2,400 mm platforms provide ample working space at every level.
      3.

      Controlled Climbing

Once the concrete reaches the required strength, the entire system - formwork, platforms, and safety systems - climbs to the next level using lifting equipment or climbing mechanisms, safely and efficiently.
      4.

      Repeatable Cycles

The process is repeated floor after floor with consistent cycle times, reduced labour effort, and high operational safety. Each climbing bracket is rated for 50 kN vertical load, maintaining structural reliability across every level.

      Technical Specifications

The following data governs design, loading, and installation requirements for the Climbing Formwork System.

Climbing formwork systems are widely used in high-rise buildings, lift cores, stair cores, bridge piers, industrial structures, silos, pylons, telecommunications towers, inclined walls, and overhead tanks.
Nova's system is anchored to previously cast concrete using Universal Climbing Cone 15.0 anchors. Once the concrete achieves the required strength, the formwork, platforms, and safety systems move together to the next level - enabling repeatable and controlled construction cycles of up to 6 m per pour.
Nova Formworks offers both crane-lifted and crane-independent climbing configurations. In standard configurations, the formwork can be set up and struck without a crane. The selection depends on project height, site conditions, and construction sequencing requirements.
Nova Climbing system is rated for 50 kN permitted vertical load and 75 kN permitted horizontal load on structure anchoring. Each climbing bracket supports 50 kN. Platform live loads are 150 kg/m² at the main working level, 300 kg/m² at the storage level, and 75 kg/m² at the lower access level.
The system supports walls from 190 mm upward. The 115 mm stop-anchor suits walls from 190 mm, the 160 mm stop-anchor from 240 mm, and the 400 mm stop-anchor for walls of 480 mm and above - covering the full range of typical RCC construction.
Key advantages include faster construction cycles, reduced labour effort, improved safety at height, consistent concrete finish, and lower overall project costs through high reuse.
